Australia's personal finance app market has shown fluctuating performance across the first quarter of 2021. Sensor Tower's data gives us a glimpse into the trends of the top five budgeting and planning applications on the Android platform.

Wallet: Budget Expense Tracker from BudgetBakers.com started the quarter with revenues around $600, peaking in late February at $923 before declining to $508 by the end of March. Downloads showed a downward trend from 505K at the beginning of the quarter to 358K, and weekly active users saw a slight decrease from 875K to 865K.

MoneyBrilliant, developed by MoneyBrilliant Pty Ltd, had its revenue peak at over $1K in early February, but ended the quarter at a lower point of $393. Downloads decreased significantly from 1.3M to 440K. As for weekly active users, the data was not provided.
